Account & Data Deletion - IWAC Conference App

This page explains how users of the IWAC Conference App can request deletion of their account and all associated data.

How to Delete Your Account (In-App Method)

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app by following these steps:

1. Log into the IWAC Conference App
2. Navigate to your Profile page
3. Tap "Edit Profile"
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page
5. Select "Delete Account"

Once confirmed, your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements described below.

Alternative Email Deletion Request

If you are unable to access the app or prefer not to use the in-app deletion process, you may request deletion via email.

Please send your request to:

iwac@wacassociation.org

You must send the request from the email address associated with your account.

Please include the subject line:
"DELETE ACCOUNT"

What Data Is Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will delete:

Data Retention

Some data may be retained for a limited period for legal, security, or operational purposes. This retention period will not exceed a reasonable timeframe (typically up to 30 days), after which all remaining data is permanently removed.
